Everyone has a dream. The dreams of those who came before us allow each of us to continue dreaming and pursuing a better life. In the world-famous 1963 March on Washington, Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” We’ve come a long way towards King’s dream and we have a long way to travel still. To keep Dr. King’s dream alive, you must dream too. In this coding project, we’ll remix a scene from the March on Washington and add our own dream! We’ll start by remembering King’s dream and imagining our own. What do we dream for ourselves, for our families, for our community, for our world. You’ll bring your dream to life by coding a scene in which you share your dream with Dr. King and the world. Let’s go!
