We all have somebody we look up to–someone who inspires us to be our better selves. In stories, we call these people heroes. Maybe it’s someone who is always kind to others. Maybe it’s someone who puts others before themselves. Maybe it’s someone that is confident. Or courageous. Or creative. Let’s show our appreciation towards our heroes and let them know how positively they affect our lives. In this project, we will be drawing a picture of a person who inspires us as well as writing how they inspire us. We’ll practice building character profiles and identifying shapes while creating this hero portrait. Along the way, we’ll learn a bit more about what it means to be a problem solver, brainstorming and trying solutions until we get it right!
